This role, working in the property sector, involves supporting the Retail Practice by responding to both ad-hoc data and information requests, as well providing more involved value-added input to projects, pitches and presentations. 

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing full Geographic Information System (GIS) (mapping and data analysis) support on both an ad-hoc and project-led basis
  • Continually adding value to GIS outputs through deeper analysis and interrogation of the data.
  • Compiling and producing centre-level retail overview reports
  • Adopting a hands-on role with retailer location planning projects and assignments
  • Assisting in the collation and writing of published Retail Research
  • Assisting in client-facing engagements and presentations
Candidate Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a real estate-related discipline (e.g. economics, estate management, geography, retail management)
  • Two/three years’ experience working in a related retail discipline
  • Advanced GIS skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications 
  • Strong numeracy and data manipulation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral means
  • A passion for retail generally and a strong understanding of the dynamics and fundamentals of retail markets
