- To work for prestigious global law practice and assist with the development and upgrading of new global intranet and K.M. systems
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope and implement the creation and updating of intranet pages, including working closely with lawyers and business services teams to present content on current and emerging hot topics
Gain a deep understanding of client and stakeholder knowledge requirements, balancing tailored solutions with a consistent user experience
Provide support and expertise in the maintenance and development of the Knowledge Management System which is held in SharePoint
Troubleshoot and obtain appropriate technical support as required from IT and/or external support company
Work with IT to scope, pilot and implement related projects where appropriate
Exploit and promote capabilities of any new technology related to the Intranet of Knowledge systems
Advise on best practice, recommending improvements to optimise user and experience and improve content
Leverage intranet analytics capabilities to provide insights to develop the platform and improve user experience and content engagement
Support and contribute to development of international integration and engagement as the firm continues to grow at an international level
Provide training and support to intranet 'super users' and administrators both in the UK and globally
Advise on, build, and implement taxonomies for deployment in the intranet and associated knowledge systems, as well as across other firm systems as required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Expertise in SharePoint 2013/2016 is essential
5+ years' experience working on/managing a global intranet
Work experience within a legal/professional services firm
Experience of managing projects
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with partners and staff at all levels within the firm
Effective management of own and teams' workloads
