- To work in the legal field for a global client and be located in Newcastle or North of England
Handling a range of legal and business search requests
Sharing in the delivery of legal and business research training
Promoting and raising awareness of the service and its resources to internal clients
Assisting in the delivery of a range of current awareness updates
Proactively contributing development of the Library & Information Service
Degree or post graduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Management
Relevant experience in a law firm is highly desirable, but applicants with relevant experience from other backgrounds will be considered.
Knowledge of legal and business information databases such as Lexis Library, Westlaw UK, Practical Law and Mergermarket.
Experience of using a library management system
A good working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of users
