- Two vacancies (full time - 37 hours p,w, and part time - 18.5 hours p.w.) to work in newly created vacancies in the public sector.
These roles could suit bright and confident recent graduates with a keen interest in working in the library sector or candidates with good relevant library or education work experience.
To work in a team which is responsible for Libraries promotion, purchasing library stock, arranging, and supporting events, social media, and the development of promotional strategies.
It also involves liaising with schools, creating, and delivering literacy session often to hard-to-reach communities.
It includes writing copy for promotions, the ability to build strong links with partners.
These are busy and varied roles that encompass everything from dressing up in character costumes to deliver children’s events to writing reports and presenting to senior managers.
Full time role: A sense of humour and the ability to stay calm, under pressure, are essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and vibrant team.
The right person will be a creative thinker with excellent communication and people skills with experience in a library setting or similar.
