BUSINESS & LEGAL RESEARCHER (12 MONTH FTC)

Full Description

To work in initial 12 month Fixed Term contract for a prestigious law practice and deal with business, market and legal research enquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering a wide range of business, market and legal research enquiries from lawyers and other business services teams
Providing a relevant current awareness service to practice groups and individuals
Maintaining and developing information resources
Cataloguing and team knowledge management
Undertaking discrete information or resource related projects as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Ideally a legal AND business researcher and preferably with law firm work experience.
This might be an established researcher or a research assistant who is looking to join a small tight knit team and a learning opportunity as well as a step up.
Ideally qualified (but not essential) and with current or previous research experience in a legal or professional services environment
Experience of online research and familiarity with press searching and filtering
Preferably some knowledge of using databases such as Companies House, Westlaw, Mergermarket, Debtwire and Lexis
A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
