Full Description

To provide research, knowledge and information support as part of a well-established information team at a global law practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deal with business and legal research enquiries using a range of business and legal online databases.

Liaise with vendors of electronic and print resources and help to test new products

Provide current awareness service and update intranet content

Assist with training on online database usage and conduct inductions for new employees

Promote and market the knowledge, research and library services

Serials management, cataloguing and journal circulation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Good knowledge of UK and ideally US law
Ideally a Library and Information qualification

Legal and business research experience within a law firm library or similar

Highly competent legal and business research skills

Knowledge of sources of UK and ideally US legal and business information.

Experience of commercial and legal online services

Indexing and classifying abilities
