RESEARCH MANAGER

Full Description

Newly created role to work for a global financial services information provider.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a small team of researchers responsible for engaging with institutional investors globally and set, monitor and achieve key success measures.
Develop, monitor and report on team and individual key performance indicators.
Build and maintain relationships with private markets investment professionals through regular phone, email and in person communications.
Develop effective strategies to gather a greater volume of highly valuable insights from the global investment community.
Populate a structured database with information sourced from investors.
Write high quality profiles of investors’ future investment plans.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of financial markets preferably within the private markets asset classes
Significant professional experience gained in a research environment in a similar complex organisation.
Experience of managing teams to deliver against targets.
Confident to talk to senior private market executives about their investment plans on the phone and in person.
Results-driven and motivated by achieving success for the team.
Keen to be part of a business with high growth expectations.
