SENIOR KNOWLEDGE LAWYER

To work on a full or part time basis for a prestigious law practice and help to deliver a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Knowledge Team to identify opportunities to improve knowledge or information services and systems in line with the Knowledge Strategy.
Help to plan for and identify upcoming challenges and opportunities particularly for the IP, IT & Commercial team.
Build strong relationships to increase engagement in knowledge initiatives.
Collect and share knowledge, information and best practice.
Help to analyse and keep the team informed about legal issues as they arise
Supporting tenders and pitches.
Assisting with the maintenance and development of the team’s precedents and toolkits.
Overseeing the organisation of a training schedule and delivering induction training to new joiners and trainees to the team.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent technical knowledge of and experience of one or more of the team’s areas of practice which are IP, IT and Commercial
The ideal candidate will be at least 7 years PQE and experience in Knowledge Management is preferred.
Highly IT literate, confident user of MS Office and legal and business information systems with experience of SharePoint or similar platforms.
Interest in or experience of legal technology, including document automation (e.g. Contract Express), AI based tools (e.g. Relativity and Luminance), e-signatures (e.g. Docusign) and extranet sites (e.g. HighQ Collaborate)
Ability to facilitate, manage and implement change.
Ability to work well in partnership with lawyers and support staff, for the benefit of clients
